When I first learned that Obama would be making an appearance in NH next Tuesday, I saw it for the unique opportunity it was and immediately began to search for tickets. Though I had my reservations on visiting any government site after the Cash For Clunkers website terms of service scare last week, I decided that having at least one actual NH resident with an unscripted question for OUR PRESIDENT (he works for US!) at a town hall meeting in a stacked-deck audience of members of ACORN and the SEIU could be an eye opening event for the country I love, so I preceded. Following the information on Whitehouse.gov, I waited anxiously for the tickets to be released while continually checking back for updated information. On Friday, in the press release section of the site, there was an update and a request for tickets form was made available. After entering my information, an auto response said that registration would close on Saturday, August 8th at 3:30PM and ticket holders would be notified after that.

Why Can't I Make Obama's Guest List In My Own State?
By

I began writing this post around 1:00AM on the 9th and at this point I'm losing all HOPE of getting to my opportunity to have the one answer my question. In all honesty, I am pretty sure that someone at the White House is checking into who wants to attend the event. I seriously doubt, based on my site, that camp Obama would ever let someone of my beliefs close to the one and his propaganda machine. But maybe that is the point of all of this... By allowing only scripted questions from supporters and stacking the audience with thugs from ACORN, the SEIU and various other now quasi-government groups under Obama, he is preventing US Citizens from expressing their opposition to a particular policy. The fact that this is even being billed as a town hall event is absolutely shameful. Our own President is restricting our constitutionally protected right to free speech and is hindering the overall effectiveness of our democracy. Although I am the loyal opposition of his policy and agenda, until this recent health care debate, I never would have insulted his intellect... but for a President that polls every word that may come out of his mouth in the future, ignoring a majority of the public opposing heath care is a stupid move as well as political suicide. I say this to President Obama: We are all voters, and we are all watching-Democracy will prevail...It's due time that we have a single term President!
If, by some miracle, I am extended tickets to the event, I will be sure to post it immediately.
