I find it ironic that as often as we have been reminded that Americans voted overwhelmingly for change in 2008 (52.92% is hardly overwhelming), now President Obama seems to be stuck in perpetual campaign mode. The signature policy decisions Obama has proposed or passed, have been plagued with controversy, lack of substance, and overall confusion from the beginning. Given that, I can see where he would feel the need to try and win over the hearts of sceptics, but the constant exposure is having an adverse effect on the important speeches he is trying to give. No longer are people hanging on his every word, salivating on themselves to catch a glimpse of the Anointed One like they were a year ago, the reason: too many words and not enough substance!

Obama Must Not Realize He Won The Election
By

To The One's credit, even though I opposed his policies from the start, the first time I heard him at a campaign rally it was clear that the man had a certain charisma that was easy to be sucked into. This is the reason he won the election. Fast forward to January 2009, the time when he was supposed to start turning the rhetoric to policy. Since then we have had a premature announcement that Guantánamo Bay detention center would be closing without any plans of where to ship the detainees, enacting of a pork infested stimulus plan written by the Apollo Alliance (who the hell elected them?), a cap and trade bill that by Obama's own admission would necessarily bankrupt the coal industry, cash for clunkers program that was the brain child of now ousted Green Jobs advisor/czar/communist/truther Van Jones (hoopties for hybrids), and who could forget about health care/insurance/socialism reform written by nameless, faceless ghosts seemingly transcribing in Latin laced with Aramaic that no one on the planet can interpret.
But where was Obama during all of this? Oh, ya... he was traveling around the world apologizing for us for some reason, or campaigning around the country spewing anything but facts on health care or the economy. Now it's all making sense... he is far too busy with all of that to actually run the show at the White House. Or maybe that is the whole reason behind all of the unaccountable czars, he gets to push his radical agenda through the czars and then when they become known as radicals themselves, magically they are low level position holders that really didn't have much say in regards to policy. On the other hand, I may be over analyzing the situation... perhaps McCain could have continued his campaign as well, I'm sure he'd be delighted to say I told you he was inexperienced and lacked the leadership skills necessary to guide the country...you should have listened! Then again, I too am entitled to say I told you so, but the severity of the situation we face requires a united front of opposition and dropping that line will only serve to divide us.

Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul were the only presidential cadidates I could believe the last time around. Maybe they should start a non-partisan coalition of congresspeople who support the constitution.
