I was checking the comments on my 9/12 video that was linked to on GaniteGrok.com (a great site if you haven't visited yet) and somehow a comment was posted that interjected race into my video. Rather than let the moronic comment stand for what it was, I decided to reply.
That video is amazing because there is only one person of color in the entire thing. She's at the the 6:41 mark. Other than that, how can you claim to be representative of the country when in all the pictures from this rally feature white people? What a joke.

Seaborn,---- "...there is only one person of color in the entire thing..."That is the type of mentality that serves only one purpose- to divide, and that is exactly what got our nation into this mess in the first place. If you choose to get your news from Janeane Garofalo and company at MSNBC, then I can see why you would think that. However, there was not a racial tone at the event at all, and my hopes for next year are that the numbers grow exponentially... whatever race, ethnicity, size, shape, hair color, or any other superficial qualities they may have... as long as the common ideas are shared. I know that can be a tough concept to grasp for some... but think about it. I'm not sure of your age, but given I am 24, I'll go out on a limb and say that we are from different generations and the racial divide of your generation is fading out. Do some soul searching and in the future maybe you can judge on the content of one's character instead of the color of one's skin. -COTErack

So, apparently I am a racist now for an accurate portrayal of the days events. Something the mainstream media had given up years ago. When MSNBC shows up for coverage of an event this is what happens...
Another disgusting example of the irrelevancy of the mainstream media. Call me a racist, I don't care anymore- it means nothing if facts don't support it! The FACTS on the matter are: I am so racist that I moved down to Cleveland with my Dominican roommate to a school in a predominantly black neighborhood and Adam is so racist that he has been dating his girlfriend who is half Jamaican for the past two years... but all of that was just a front to cover up the video we were planning to make of an event that wasn't even dreamt up until six months ago! Continual manipulation of the race card only exposes those who misuse it for the pathetic, bottom feeding jackasses they are at heart.

I was at the event and probably saw only about 1/4 of the people who were there. I saw many different ethnic groups represented.
It is a very narrow minded person who chooses to point out they found "Waldo" in the pics and then tag everyone involved as racist.
I am also glad to see that people of every age group are concerned.
Keep up the good work with the blog.
As we walked around and visited with many good people who really do care about this country we met a black gentleman and his wife. They had there little daughter with them and wanted her to attend so she would understand true values of the country. Not what she is told in school. I remember there little daughter say "you are not mean at all". She also indicated that she was having a great time.
I'll agree that the majority who attended were white, I for one did see many people of many races there as well. I didn't think about it much I care what color a person's skin is, I care about there values as a person.
